In 2015, the chance meeting between Vincent Artison, alias Donso'matrix, and trumpeter Gérald Pittet on the stage of the Montreux Jazz Festival Club gave rise to a very special and unique duo. Warm and bewitching sounds with a subtle mix of trumpet and string instruments (Donso Ngoni and Kamele Ngoni), percussion (jembé) and wind instruments (Peul flute) from West Africa.
LIta and VINcent lead to LIVIN'.
The multi-instrumentalist DONSO'Matrix, also known as Vincent ARTISON, once again vibrates his harp-lute (Kamele Ngoni, Donso Ngoni) and percussion instruments (balafon, jembé) from West Africa. This time, it is with the singer and violinist Lita SCHÄRER that the fusion is made and carries us to a place where mingle subtly wild voluptuousness, poetry, joy and journey in the infinity of an eight (title of their first album).
